Dr. Shawn Mamer – Dentist
Dr. Shawn Mamer grew up 2 hours east of Saskatoon on a small family farm where his roots hold strong to farm life and values. He moved to Saskatoon in 1998 to pursue his academic career. He attended massage therapy at McKay Tech and graduated in 2000. He then went to the University of Saskatchewan that same year. He graduated in 2004 with distinction with a BA in Psychology. After taking a few years to work and start a family, he returned to the U of S to the College of Kinesiology while waiting to get into Dentistry. He graduated from Dentistry in 2011 and has been practicing since. Dr. Mamer enjoys helping patients love their smiles with restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is trained in Invisalign orthodontics, implant restoration as well as all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Mamer is married to his wife Kyla, and they have two children together, Jacob and Lexis. When not working, Shawn enjoys spending time doing various DIY yard and home projects. He loves the outdoors and activities with his family and friends. It has always been a dream of his to own practice with his identical twin brother, Dr. Shane Mamer. One of Shawn’s favorite quotes that he lives by is identical to Shane’s favorite quote, “You are never truly beaten until you give up.”
